Traditional Dry Mead
A pure dry Viking mead made
with honey from our own hives.
Double Blackberry Dry
A dry wine made with our honey
and blackberries from Edge of
the Woods Raspberry Farm. We
call it “double” because it gets 2
doses of blackberries at different
stages of fermentation
Blueberry Bliss
A semi-dry wine made with our
honey and plump juicy
blueberries.
Blueberry Lemon Twist
A semi-sweet wine made with
honey from our own hives,
blueberries, and both the zest
and juice of lemons. The lemon
adds notes of citrus without
making it sour in any way.
Below is a list of the wines we produce. Due to federal rules on language used to
describe a wine/mead/etc, just know that nothing we produce is made with grapes. The
key sugar being fermented in each one is our honey and thus why we are considered a
meadery. So don’t let the word “wine” confuse you if it is used.
Crips Cyser
A crisp semi-sweet cyser. A
cyser is a mead using apple cider
instead of water. We source our
cider from Deals Orchard of
Jefferson, IA, and literally get to
see it pressed in front of us.
Edge of the Woods
A Seasonal semi-sweet mix of
locally sourced berries from
Edge of the Woods Raspberry
Farm of Indianola, IA. Enjoy the
flavors of blackberries,
raspberries, and blueberries
paired with our raw honey.
Sweet Mead Original
A straight sweet Viking mead
made with honey from our own
hives.
Autumn Spiced Mead
A sweet wine made with all the
flavors of autumn. Enjoy notes
of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon,
cloves, allspice, and orange
paired with honey from our own
hives.
Sweet Deal
A sweet mead cyser made with
fresh pressed apple cider sourced
from Deals Orchard of Jefferson,
IA. One of our best sellers for
sure. Sweet Deal is a play on
words giving recognition to
Deal's Orchard.
Sour Puss
A sweet wine incorporating
lemon juice and lemon zest. The
lemon adds lovely notes of citrus
without any sour flavor. The
name Sour Puss is a play on
words paying tribute to the feline
rescue organization “Whiskers
TNR of Warren County” that we
work closely with.
Sweet Pineapple Mead
A sweet mead made with
pineapple and honey from our
own hives.
Mead with Vanilla
Bean
A sweet mead made with ample
amounts of raw split vanilla
beans and honey from our own
hives
The Spicy Beekeeper
A jalapeno sweet heat wine.
This is a unique experience that
has spice lovers traveling to our
farm just to aquire it and has a
playful image of one of our
favorite beekeepers, Andrew
Joseph.
Dragon Kiss
A dessert sweetness wine made
with two doses of blackberries at
two different stages to give you
strong fruit flavors. This is
bottled like most dessert/ice
wines in 375ml bottles and best
served chilled as an after meal
dessert.
